According to Terry Pluto of the Cleveland.com the role of Browns wide receiver Braylon Edwards will change in 2009. Instead of trying to stretch the field on every down, Edwards is expected to run some short slants and be involved in a rapid passes that will allow him to use his strength to gain the extra yard.
Bruno Boys Take: No doubt about it Edwards was one of the biggest fantasy football busts of last season and at this point any news is good news. With the Browns already thin at the wide receiver position we have a tough time believing they will make an emphasis on a player of his talent working the middle of the field on short slant routes but time will tell. He currently ranks as our 18th best wide receivier in our 2009 fantasy football cheat sheet magazine and should be targeted as a middle of the road WR2 in all fantasy football leagues.

Brayon Edwards is no Plaxico Burress or Charles Rogers!
