In a pinch for a skill player that will produce at a high level for you this week but not sure what route to go? Well no need to fret the small stuff because the Bruno Boys will help make your lineup decision easier. From Quarterbacks to Defenses we have you covered on who you should feel comfortable about plugging into your Week 11 lineup. Now, it’s time to cut to the chase and read our Fantasy Football Week 11 Start Ems advice.
QUARTERBACKS – START ‘EM
Donovan McNabb (Philadelphia Eagles) @ Chicago
Coming off a career game with 450 passing yards, McNabb is rolling. He faces a Chicago Bears defense that while they are going to be well-rested (coming off a Thursday Night loss), are still allowing nearly 16 points a game to opposing QBs. Granted, they limited Niners QB Alex Smith to nearly nothing, but to compare McNabb and Smith is a reach. McNabb has playmakers in WRs DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin, TE Brent Celek, and his RBs have been unable to run and be successful. McNabb will be forced to throw which should allow 250 yards and 2 TDs to be an easily reachable target.
Matt Hasselbeck (Seattle Seahawks) @ Minnesota
While the Vikings rush defense is great (and their pass rush is above average), they are still allowing over 15 fantasy points per game to opposing QBs. With Julius Jones out, Matt Hasselbeck is heading into Sunday with a questionable ground game behind him. As such, the Seahawks will look to pass. Hasselbeck has a good amount of solid WRs at his disposal, and with Justin Forsett being an excellent pass catcher, Hasselbeck makes for a good start if you’re struggling for options in week 11. Remember, he was able to post 315 yards and a TD versus 2 INTs against the Cardinals last weekend.
Eli Manning (New York Giants) vs. Atlanta
Eli Manning and Tony Romo seem to be in a full out fight for the honor of being the most inconsistent fantasy QB on a week-to-week basis. Whether or not it’s Manning, any QB facing the Atlanta Falcons is a must start in our book. Let’s be real, if Jake Delhomme can post 195 passing yards and 2 TDs against Atlanta, then in Manning, we’re looking at a QB who should dominate the Falcons’ secondary. While the Giants have been lethargic since a 5-0 start, they are now coming off a bye week and are most definitely going to start the second half of their season fired up. Manning should post 200+ yards and 3 TDs, as the Falcons have given up over 15 points per game to fantasy QBs this season.
RUNNING BACKS – START ‘EM
Cedric Benson/Bernard Scott/Larry Johnson (Cincinnati Bengals) @ Oakland
For fantasy purposes, the Bengals’ running back that you want to handcuff to Cedric Benson heading into week 11 is rookie, Bernard Scott. HC Marvin Lewis has said that Larry Johnson will be used strictly as an emergency RB for the time being. Benson has been a star in 2009, and as long as he’s healthy, he will have a great day against the Oakland Raiders, who have allowed 25 fantasy points per game to opposing RBs, meaning there will be endless holes to run through this Sunday. Keep tabs on Benson’s status up until kickoff because whichever Bengals’ back goes, they will be a Start Em play.
Kevin Smith (Detroit Lions) vs. Cleveland
The Cleveland Browns are coming off of a loss to the Ravens where they didn’t score and only put up 160 total yards for the game. As a result, the Ravens were able to simply pound the ball on the ground when on offense, which led star RB Ray Rice to post 104 total yards and a TD. Meanwhile, back-up RBs Willis McGahee and LeRon McClain added 64 total yards to the mix. All that these numbers mean is that RB Kevin Smith should have the best day of his season in this upcoming match-up. The Browns give up around 24 fantasy points per game to opposing RBs, and with Kevin Smith seeing the bulk of the carries, he should make a solid RB2 play.
Chris “Beanie” Wells (Arizona Cardinals) @ St. Louis
It’s not that Beanie has become anywhere near a must-start option, but coming off a great week 10 that showed him log 117 total yards and 2 rushing TDs, he is in for more looks in this offense. Against an awful St. Louis Rams’ defense that has given up 22 points per game to opposing fantasy RBs, Chris “Beanie” Wells should see 15-20 touches and log 100 total yards and a score. Start Wells in week 11 as he keeps building his fantasy resume as the season rolls on.

I have a rb question.
I have Rice, Sjax and Jacobs.
Jacobs has the best matchup but would you sit either Rice or Sjax in favor of Jacobs.
Standard scoring 1pt - 10 yrds rush, 6pt - td, 1pt - 10yrds rec

Larry- Thanks for the question.
Rice and SJax have become must starts regardless of their match-ups. Rice is averaging 17 points per game and SJax is at 13.6 ppg. Both players will see more touches than Jacobs, so go with the studs this week.

Jacobs hasn’t rushed for a 100 yards yet this year, and the giants expect to exploit the passing defense this week so how could you bench SJax and Rice? If you are in a ppr league than you’d be insane to start Jacobs here.
