26. Bernard Berrian (Minnesota Vikings) vs. Green Bay
Berrian has seen his receiving yards increase in each game – though that wasn’t difficult considering he had zero in Week 1. Still, it’s time for him to really step up, and he should be able to do so against the Packers, who have allowed three different receivers to amass at least 80 receiving yards this season, and are 27th in the league in touchdown passes allowed.
Point Projection: 11 points
27. Earl Bennett (Chicago Bears) vs. Detroit
Bennett had another solid game for the Bears in their win over the Seahawks last week, catching four passes for a career-high 80 yards. This week, he has a fantastic match-up against the Lions, and its one Chicago quarterback Jay Cutler should be able to exploit.
Point Projection: 11 points
28. Justin Gage (Tennessee Titans) @ Jacksonville
Gage, who is sixth in the AFC in targets this season, has a great match-up against the worst pass defense in football, a title that belongs to the Jaguars, who have also allowed six touchdown passes, which is 27th in the league. He should rebound from his relatively mediocre showings from the last two weeks.
Point Projection: 11 points
29. Johnny Knox (Chicago Bears) vs. Detroit
Despite catching just one pass for seven yards last week, Knox still provided fantasy owners with something, because that one reception happened to come in the end zone. Like teammates Earl Bennett and Devin Hester, Knox’s match-up with the lowly pass defense of the Lions is too good to ignore.
Point Projection: 10 points
30. Percy Harvin (Minnesota Vikings) vs. Green Bay
Harvin brings more to the table than just his receiving ability. He’s scored a touchdown in each of his first three games, though last week it was on a kickoff return. That return is simply an example of what he’s capable of with the ball in his hands, whether that’s via the pass or the run.
Point Projection: 10 points
31. Kevin Walter (Houston Texans) vs. Oakland
Walter returned from a two-game absence to perform the way fantasy owners expected him to when the season started, hauling in seven catches, 96 yards and one touchdown. He also ran the ball once for 11 yards, and should be a threat all season with teams paying more attention to Andre Johnson than him.
Point Projection: 10 points
32. Chansi Stuckey (New York Jets) @ New Orleans
Stuckey did not have a great game last week against the Titans, coming up with just two catches for 11 yards. Still, don’t sleep on him. He’s the Jets’ No. 2 wideout, and his second touchdown of the season is a distinct possibility against a below-average New Orleans pass defense.
Point Projection: 10 points
33. Torry Holt (Jacksonville Jaguars) vs. Tennessee
Holt has become nothing more than a possession receiver, who hasn’t had fewer than 47 receiving yards in any game this season. His relatively high ranking here is sternly a result of his match-up with the poor pass defense of the Titans, however, and the fact that Holt has yet to find the end zone and is due for a trip there.
Point Projection: 10 points
34. Derrick Mason (Baltimore Ravens) @ New England
Mason had his biggest game so far this season in week 3, coming up with over 100 receiving yards. That said, he has a difficult match-up with the Patriots this week, who are sixth in the NFL in pass defense. Mason is just as liable to have 25 receiving yards in a game as he is to have 100, but he remains Baltimore’s best wide out, and a day of 40 yards with a score is not out of the realm of possibility.
Point Projection: 10 points
35. Ted Ginn Jr. (Miami Dolphins) vs. Buffalo
Ginn may actually be helped by the absence of Chad Pennington, as his replacement, Chad Henne, has an infinitely stronger arm and should be able to better utilize Ginn’s best asset – his deep speed. Look for the Dolphins to try and take advantage of that against Buffalo, who have the No. 28 pass defense in the NFL.
Point Projection: 9 points
36. Santana Moss (Washington Redskins) vs. Tampa Bay
Remarkably, Moss came around this week against the ghastly Lions pass defense, after showing little to nothing in the season’s first two weeks. If Jason Campbell trusts him as much as he seemed to in the Redskins’ embarrassing loss, then there’s something to like about Moss.
Point Projection: 9 points
37. Antonio Bryant (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) @ Washington **CHECK INJURY STATUS**
Bryant had just one reception last week, but he may have still been feeling the effects of his knee problem. This week, he and the Bucs will be lining up with a new quarterback, Josh Johnson, so it’s anybody’s guess as to what to expect. Bryant remains Tampa’s best play maker on the outside, however, and if healthy has a chance to do some damage.
Point Projection: 9 points
38. Isaac Bruce (San Francisco 49ers) vs. St. Louis
The future Hall of Fame receiver goes up against the team he spent most of his career with this week, the Rams, having shown there’s still something left in the tank. He has accumulated just 73 total yards combined the past two weeks, but St. Louis is 25th in the league in pass defense, and last season, in Week 16, Bruce had seven catches for 61 yards and a score against his old mates.
Point Projection: 9 points
39. Lee Evans (Buffalo Bills) @ Miami
Evans hasn’t had more than 32 receiving yards all season, and the time has come for him and the Bills’ offense to step up and make some plays. Expect that to happen this week at the hands of a Miami team scrambling for their first win and without their starting quarterback.
Point Projection: 9 points
40. Nate Washington (Tennessee Titans) @ Jacksonville
Washington found the end zone for the second consecutive game last week, and his match-up this week is one to look forward to. The Jaguars are dead last in the NFL in pass defense, which should provide Washington yet another opportunity to cross the goal line.
Point Projection: 8 points
41. Devery Henderson (New Orleans Saints) vs. New York Jets
Henderson caught only three passes for 40 yards last week as the entirety of the Saints’ passing game surprisingly struggled. Henderson’s receiving yards have ebbed in consecutive games after a 103-yard debut, but he’s a consistent threat to get down the field and score.
Point Projection: 8 points
42. Andre Caldwell (Cincinnati Bengals) @ Cleveland
Carson Palmer clearly trusts Caldwell if he’s throwing to him in the end zone in the final minutes of the fourth quarter, as Palmer did last week in the Bengals’ upset win over the Steelers. Caldwell has 14 catches on the year, but for only 122 yards, so he leaves something to be desired, but it’s a good sign for his fantasy value that Palmer is willing to look for him at any point.
Point Projection: 8 points
43. Malcolm Kelly (Washington Redskins) vs. Tampa Bay
Kelly is a big target who seemed to be on the verge of a breakthrough after catching four passes for 41 yards in Week 2. Alas, it didn’t happen last week, as he caught just one pass, but it should be coming at some point. Kelly is a solid sleeper against the Bucs, who are 29th in the league in passing scores allowed.
Point Projection: 7 points
44. Eddie Royal (Denver Broncos) vs. Dallas
A massive disappointment so far this season, Royal will break through at some point. He only caught one pass for four yards last week, but he’s just got too much ability to stay grounded like that much longer. His road back to respectability could begin this week against a poor Dallas pass defense; however, until he proves he can play up to his talent level, we recommend you look elsewhere for your wide receivers.
Point Projection: 7 points
45. Kenny Britt (Tennessee Titans) @ Jacksonville
Britt has had an up-and-down season so far, but that’s what you might expect from a rookie. This week, though, you should expect more ups against a Jaguars team that is last in the NFL in pass defense and will have trouble matching up with the physically talented rookie.
Point Projection: 7 points
46. Davone Bess (Miami Dolphins) vs. Buffalo
Bess plays a consistent role of the Dolphins, one that sees him catch short to intermediate passes for fewer than 10 yards per reception. That said, he has a match-up to love this week against the Bills, who are a poor pass defense already and who are also going to be without cornerback Leodis McKelvin.
Point Projection: 7 points
47. Josh Morgan (San Francisco 49ers) vs. St. Louis
Morgan is too talented to keep on being so mediocre, and though he seems to be the third option in the 49ers’ offense behind Isaac Bruce and Vernon Davis, the team may be forced to throw more this week due to the absence of Frank Gore. It’s also nice that his match-up is against the Rams.
Point Projection: 7 points
48. Antwaan Randle El (Washington Redskins) vs. Tampa Bay
Randle El’s production has waned in each game after he nearly racked up 100 receiving yards in Week 1. However, his match-up this week against the Buccaneers is solid, and he’s a threat to score at some point in the contest, because every receiver is when facing Tampa.
Point Projection: 7 points
49. Kelley Washington (Baltimore Ravens) @ New England
Washington has upped his receiving yards in every game this season, going from 43 in Week 1 to 58 in Week 2 to 66 last week. That trend isn’t likely to continue, however, against the Patriots, who hold the sixth ranked pass defense in the league.
Point Projection: 5 points
50. Greg Camarillo (Miami Dolphins) vs. Buffalo
It’s hard to know what to expect out of Miami quarterback Chad Henne, but the fact that his arm is much stronger than the wet noodle Chad Pennington was using is a plus. Camarillo and friends face off against a Buffalo pass defense that is 28th in the NFL, despite the fact that they held the Saints in check last week.
Point Projection: 6 points

steve and knox…jets have shutdown no.1 recievers for teams in the past weeks. And, knox returns kicks so if ur in a league that gives points for return yardage, thats a definite decent amount of points just from the returns.
