Hopefully you have a quarterback that is serviceable enough to plug into your lineup because at this point you’re probably not going to find anything decent on the waiver wire. We have one on our Weekly Waiver Wire article this week in the Cincinnati Bengals’ Carson Palmer, but that’s only because for some reason he’s still available in some standard leagues. However, if you’re in search of a running back or just need some wide receiver depth, well then, we’ve got you covered. To find out which ones made the “Pick Them Up” list continue on reading the Bruno Boys Fantasy Football Week 7 Waiver Wire - Pick Them Up.

Spoiler Alert: if you’re looking for kickers, you’re out of luck this week.

Note: If you’re debating on who to drop to pick these guys up, you should be checking out the Bruno Boys’ article, Fantasy Football Week 7 Waiver Wire - Cut Them Loose and see if anyone on your roster is a Bruno Boys’ recommendation to drop. QUARTERBACKS — PICK THEM UP

Carson Palmer (Cincinnati Bengals)

As mentioned above the main reason Palmer is on the list is because he’s still available in about 10 percent of standard ESPN and Yahoo! leagues. Though he wasn’t able to lead the Bengals to another come-from-behind win against the Houston Texans last week he still did well as he threw for 259 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Though Palmer may not be equaling his stats from that great 2005 season he had, he still makes for a great backup and is good to use to play matchups. If you don’t already have a good backup or are in need of a starter, check Palmer’s availability now.

RUNNING BACKS — PICK THEM UP

Justin Fargas (Oakland Raiders)

With running back Darren McFadden still out a knee injury it’s up to Justin Fargas and Michael Bush to carry the load for the Oakland Raiders for the next few weeks. It was believed that at the very least the duo would get a similar amount of carries but that wasn’t the case in the Raiders’ win over the Philadelphia Eagles last week. Bush got just six carries while Fargas ran 23 times for 87 yards. Expect Fargas to continue to see 15-25 touches on the ball until McFadden returns, making him a solid pickup in any league.

Laurence Maroney (New England Patriots)

With Fred Taylor out and Sammy Morris injured early in the New England Patriots’ win over the Tennessee Titans last week it was Laurence Maroney that saw the majority of the carries. He did well with his time as he rushed 16 times for 123 yards and a touchdown. Maroney, a former first-round pick, saw himself slide down the depth chart in New England but he is still talented player and that was on display against the Titans. Assuming Morris is unable to play or will be limited this week Maroney should see 15-20 touches on the ball, making him a solid pickup in standard and deep leagues.

Javon Ringer (Tennessee Titans)

Tennessee running back LenDale White was questionable heading into the game with New England and it didn’t take long for him to leave as he injured his knee in the second quarter. As of the time this article was written there was no update on the status of White. Javon Ringer, a rookie out of Michigan State, took over backup duties behind Chris Johnson and he rushed seven times for 47 yards against the Patriots. Johnson is still the guy for the Titans but expect Tennessee to get Ringer the ball 5-10 times a game, at least until White is back. This makes him only a good pickup in very deep leagues.
