Can you believe it’s already Week 11 of the fantasy football season? It seems like yesterday we were getting you prepared for the upcoming year and now here we are, already past the bye week point of the season and heading down the stretch run. Now that the two month ritual of shuffling fantasy football lineups and rosters due to bye weeks is over it’s time to fill your roster with lasting talent that has some upside. You know, the type of player that can help propel your team to the fantasy football promise land.  As always, there will be a few speed bumps along the way, especially when it comes to injuries. Just take a quick look at our list of recommended quarterbacks this week and you will know what we mean.

For those of you looking to pickup the likes of Troy Smith, Mike Goodson, and David Garrard you won’t find them on this weeks list because we already recommended them to our fan base in last weeks Pick Them Up article.

If you find yourself in need of a little roster refreshing, take a look at our “Week 11 Waiver Wire Pick Them Ups”  list for recommendations at each position.

Quick Note: If you want to drop a player to add one of the players from this article, make sure to check out the Fantasy Football Waiver Wire - Cut Them Loose article and see if anyone on your roster is a Bruno Boys’ recommendation to drop. Remember to visit our forums to get your questions answered about waiver wire candidates, players to drop or anything related to fantasy football.

QUARTERBACKS - PICK THEM UP

Jon Kitna (Dallas Cowboys)

Kitna went 13-for-22 for 327 yards with three touchdowns and one interception against the New York Giants as the Cowboys played well in interim head coach Jason Garrett’s debut.  He has thrown for over 300 yards in two of his three starts since taking over for Tony Romo (broken clavicle) and has also scored at least 12 fantasy points in three of his four games overall this season.  Kitna’s upcoming schedule (Detroit, New Orleans, Indianapolis) looks fairly favorable as well.  He is likely still available in the majority of fantasy leagues, and could be particularly valuable in leagues where starting two quarterbacks is required.

Shaun Hill (Detroit Lions)

Hill went 29-for-50 for 323 yards with one touchdown and one interception in Week 10 against the Buffalo Bills as he returned to the starting lineup in place of Matt Stafford (right shoulder).  Hill himself suffered a broken left forearm a few weeks back, but now looks healthy and will likely be the Lions’ starting quarterback for the foreseeable future.  In the five full games he has played in this season, Hill has not thrown for less than 227 yards at all and has at least 14 fantasy points in four of the five contests. He is available in a lot of leagues (78 percent availability in Yahoo! leagues), and if you are a Stafford owner Hill is definitely worth adding.
