I’ve been extremely busy and I’ve done absolutely ZERO preparation for this draft, but I’m excited to be back on the BB boards for the new season! The off-season is officially over for me at 6pm eastern tonight. Last year I drafted a beastly team, but I have a feeling I’ll be coming here for advice every week for the next few months. When I was a kid, I never thought I’d be thrilled to see the END of summer, but I’m ready for some football! WOOOOOOOO!

FF Oasis Experts League Draft Results

I am playing in the same league that some of the other Bruno Boys staff members have posted about and here is a running breakdown of my team….. The draft is currently live.

I am drafting out of the No.9 spot in a 12-team league, 6 points for all TDs, 1 point per reception…. you start QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, Flex (QB, RB, WR, TE), K, DEF….

At 1.09 I was able to snag Steven Jackson and I am extremely happy about this in any format, especially in PPR.

2010 August Oasis Invitational - Expert Leagues Draft

Wanted to post as mine and Bruno Boys Allie were drafting for our Expert League.

Scoring is mostly standard with a few caveats:

1 point per reception
6 points per passing TDs
-3 points for Fumbles Lost and Interceptions thrown.

I will start posting after the second round. Feel free to leave your thoughts on how the draft is going thus far.

You draft a team based on 2009 stats, and then play a football strategy game using those stats. It’s like Tecmo Bowl combined with fantasy football. Pretty fun.
