Before I get started with the standings I wanted to thank everyone who participated in the Bruno Boys Pick ‘Em Contest. It didn’t get started until Week 7 but there were over 25 people who make picks at least once during the season. However, the rules stated that you needed to make picks for at least seven weeks (35 games) in order to qualify for the $25 Amazon Gift Card. With that being the case we saw only four Forum members qualify for the gift card. A special thanks for Big Space, Picklenator, CATS FAN, and Wildcat Storm for sticking it out throughout the contest and trying to predict NFL winners… which is by all means not an easy task. 

Now to the F]INAL STANDINGS. Remember for those who picked more than seven weeks, I compiled your overall record from the best seven weeks….

CATS FAN - 26 wins - 8 losses - 1 tie

BIG SPACE - 26 wins - 8 losses - 1 tie

WILDCAT STORM - 18 wins - 17 losses - 0 ties

PICKLE - 14 wins - 19 losses - 2 ties

Congrats to CATS FAN and BIG SPACE for claiming a share of the title at an impressive success rate of 74-percent accuracy against the spread. Even the big shots in Vegas can’t claim that percentage.

Per our rules at the start of this competition, Week 17 would be used as a tie-breaker in which both teams make picks against the spread on all 16 NFL games.  The winner of Week 17 will be the CHAMPION and win a $25 Amazon Gift Card.  In order to be fair since it’s head-to-head I ask that you send all picks to me at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) and I will post each players picks once I have received both.  Game Lines will be up tomorrow in the Forum so please be on the lookout.

Pickle - Go for it man. Try and change your luck and predict the winners of all 16 games against the spread. Obviously it won’t count towards the final standings but at least you can potentially go home a winner and with a .500 or better record.

i think i must accept defeat.

also, when did you become an adminstrator?  where you always that?  i think you guys should change all your titles to, oracle, kahuna etc

Pickle - Glad you are accepting defeat though I’d like to see how you’d do predicting a full slate of games. Also, I’ve been am adminastrator since Day 1. Whooley and I have that title in the forum. As for changing our titles, perhaps an offseason switch but as of now Admin will do.

Enjoy Week 17 and if you get around to it pick those games in Week 17. There is some crazy point spreads and it’s a tough week to wrap your hands around.

where did you grab the spreads from?  i can start a thread of an all or nothing prize.  you know, like the hole in one game getting a car?  i can put forward a prize from the great white north to whoever gets 100% on that crazy 17 week
