I’m in the final game of my fantasy league and my qb Aaron Rodgers is exptected to see little play so this is terrible being he is my only qb that i have. there are options on the waiver such as: David Garrard and Alex Smith and these are the only two that I would even consider playing…is it worth picking up one of these guys or is this just not gonna be my year?
I am no expert by any means and I hope I am not stepping on any toes. If your gut says not to play Rodgers, I would go with Smith off of the waiver wire. Against the Rams, I believe he will have an outstanding day. Out of the other pics on your team I like Charles as your RB2, Austin in the RB/WR spot, Colston has the talent for the WR1 spot, Rice in the WR2 spot, in the TE spot I like Winslow (Carlson does not get enough targets), and I think the Packers defense is going to have a huge day against Arizona. All these are just gut feelings and how I would play it if I had this team. Once again…sorry if I am out of line.
Marc- Your not out of line. Your so far IN LINE that its almost funny. You hit the main reason/purpose for this forum. Peeps come here to pick the brains of the every day fantasy player. Some guys will give you just a name to start. ” Start Colston”. Others might kick out 20 stats to back it up more. But alot of times during the live chat, you will be directed to the forum where there are several experienced fantasy footballers as well as Bruno Boys Staff that answer questions when live chat is crazy.
So dont feel bad in throwing out your opinions….Thats what were supposed to do!

I think smith could be a decent start. Ive also been mentioning Henne this week. Smith has NOTHING to play for so he will play the entire game. No chance of getting sat but then again..How much motivation? Henne has to play. They need to win and it seems they have been less and less running the wild cat as constant as they did when Brown was back there and it appears they are actually trusting Henne to throw more…
Past four games he has attempted 52-29-46-55 passes ...
On the second one (29) he was still accurate and connected on 21 of those for 220 yards. The other three games were well over 300 yards a game each!
He is prone to INTs but so is Schaub and Werner. About half way point Manning and Schaub had the same INTs….But no one was complaing about Manning!
I know they play Pittsburgh…But suddenly they arent as mean on D as they once were, and Troy P isnt playing again (If i remem correct. Check on that!)
It will also depend on the way you score…The only DOWN side is he doesnt throw for a ton of TDs. But if you get nice bonuses for yardage…PPR….not penalized to heavily for INTs…. Henne could be nice this week too.

Mark,
Interesting call on the GB D/ST. I had them but dropped them (but could still pick them up again). Other options are Denver and Chicago—would you care to speculate?
