It was exciting to see so many of our forum regulars finish strong in the Playoff Challenge - congratulations to all and thanks again for participating…it made the playoffs that much more enjoyable!  As for the Bruno Boys…that darn Whooley had a full roster for the Super Bowl and came from behind to beat me by one point so he finished best among the BB staff. If the Saints had gone for the PAT instead of the the two point converstion I had shot at tying him because I had Hartley and his leg was on fire…however I LOVED Sean Payton’s gutsy play calling during the game so I’m not going to whine about finishing behind Whooley…after all…I was the only BBer to pick the Saints to win so I am smiling big time today!  grin grin grin

Congrats to the Saints team and organization and the city of New Orleans!

Nice work Black Tetra. You were consistent throughout the first three rounds and 63 points in the Super Bowl round isn’t too shabby.  I bet you were glad to see Joseph Addai go for 135 total yards and find paydirt. Also Garcon came up clutch with a touchdown…to bad he dropped another pass.

Congrats again on the strong finish and thanks for all of your dedication to the bruno Boys website throughout the 2009 season. We look forward to interacting with you in the offseason and we will be posting Polls (like the Kurt Warner one) and 2010 Player Projections on a more consistent basis.

woohoo…I’m number 9!..I’m number 9!..congrats to the top 3 whoever they be.
The 14pnt swing from NO d/st to IND d/st made a difference for some ppl.
‘twas fun.

RSR1… Congrats on finishing No.9 overall. That’s a great accomplishment considering the final amount of players was 308.  That 14 point swing did make a huge difference for many of the people who were in contention. Especially since 32 percent of the people in the Playoff Challenge got -3 from the Colts while the 12 percent of the people who had the Saints were able to score a much needed 11 points.

Thanks for partaking in the Forum throughout the playoff challenge and we look forward to seeing you in the offseason. Just because 2009 is behind us it doesn’t mean we can take a break. It’s time to prepare for the 2010 fantasy football season and we look forward to hearing from you throughout.  Congrats again on the strong finish.

Thanks.  I was just cutting some onion, dinner time almost, and if I squint and turn my head I can make that 9 look like a 1, and that looks better. Black Tetra should try that, he’d be able to get those two 1’s together into one without any trouble at all.
I’ve been lurking, and I’ll be around during the offseason, tossing my two cents in here and there.  Sadly I’m guilty of having already mock drafted for next year.  I find it interesting to watch the player/position movement as the adp develops…and theres a lot of movement this offseason. [lol..i need help]

Sounds Good Mark G.  We will keep you posted on all of the action that we have planned during the offseason. We are starting to really focus on preparation for the 2010 season and will be releasing articles that are geared towards that.

Also, while you’re at it head over to our General Discussion and Player Projection sections of the Forum and interact in some of the discussions over there.  Here are links to five topics that will help kick the withdrawls…
