I figured we wouldve had plenty of Superbowl predictions, but since we had not I’ll be the first to say….......... The Jets & Vikings with the game being close, but the Vikings being the Victors!
First of all, I’ll start with this week…I’m thinking Jets, Cowboys, Colts, and Saints…Then the Next week it would be Colts over the Jets and the Cowboys over the Saints….so for the Superbowl i think its going to be Colts v. Cowboys with the Cowboys winning

this question important because the nfl.com fantasy league works a little different. it actually multiplies the points of your players if they win their week! For instance this week I get 2x the points for all of my jets players. Next week they will be 3x. So you all really think that Dallas will defeat the Vikings huh?
tetra must forget how poorly the Colts have done under Manning in the playoffs when they have a wildcard bye. I’m rooting for the Colts to do well, but aside from their Super Bowl run they haven’t fared too well in the playoffs under Manning. I’m hoping I won’t be able to say that any more after this season.
As for the divisional round, as I told Marc earlier in the week, I like all the home teams to win and advance.
Well I even if the defeat the Ravens they wont get by my JETS. And yes they(the Jets) will still be there!
Playa Slaya - I like the confidence you have in the Jets this weekend. Like you, I think they can go into San Diego and beat the Chargers. It will take and exceptional effort on both sides of the football but it can be done. In my opinion, if New York’s defense can contain Philip Rivers and force San Diego’s bottom feeding run offense to beat them they will win the game. It won’t be the most entertaining game of the weekend but it should be close for 60 minutes and tha is all you can ask for in the playoffs.
Here are my predictions for the four games this weekend.
Arizona Cardinals - 34
New Orleans Saints - 31
This will be the most entertaining game of the weekend but in the end the experience of Kurt Warner and the postseason confidence of the Cardinals prevail. Look for the QBs to combine for 650 yards and 5-7 TDs in this game.
Baltimore Ravens - 17 Indianapolis Colts - 27
Like Cory said, the Colts have struggled after the bye in years past but they get over the hump in 2010. With the Ravens expected to run often and control the clock this game will be close throughout. However, the Ravens defensive backs will have trouble defending the Colts passing attack. Baltimore keeps it close for 50 minutes and the Colts dominate in the fourth quarter (like we see so often from a Manning led team).
Dallas Cowboys - 20 Minnesota Vikings - 27
This is going to be a great game. A month ago I would have said Dallas ha no shot at beating the Vikings in the Metro Dome. Things have changed and the Cowboys defense has been top notch but expect Minnesota to use a balanced attack of pass / run plays to keep the Cowboys guessing and ultimately deliver the knock out punch late in the game. The magical season continues for Brett Favre as he approaches 300 passing yards and at least two touchdown passes.
New York Jets - 20
San Diego Chargers - 17
And Playa Slaya clutches his fist after reading this prediction. Both teams are riding a high and San Diego hasn’t lost since mid-October but in my opinion the Jets have that “spark” right now that prevails in the postseason. Plus, I don’t like the fact that the Chargers skill players haven’t saw much action since Christmas Day. Look for both defenses to play well but for the Jets to do just enough to force San Diego to rely on the run. This will allow them to keep the game close, take advantage of their game-plan (run the football) and pull off the upset in sunny San Diego.
Best of Luck to all in the Bruno Boys Playoff Challenge and if your favorite team is in the playoffs best of luck to them as well (unless you’re a Cowboys fan).
I finished 1-1 in my predictions after Saturday’s Divisional Round games. I didn’t see the New Orleans blowout coming but Arizona was toast on defense and the Saints brought so much pressure and Warner was forcing passes all afternoon. Wish Fitzgerald could have got a backdoor TD late to save his fantasy day but the Cardinals could barely move the football in the second half. I look forward to both of today’s and I hope they are better than yesterday’s, because neither game yesterday was all that entertaining (unless you were a Saints and Colts fan).
Good Luck to all in the Playoff Challenge today. Go Vikings and Jets.

Bigspace…great call on your predictions for the final four except for the Cowboys pick. Growing up as a fan of a rival team in the NFC East…I couldn’t be happier that Dallas imploded against the Vikings…though I admit I was surprised by how poorly they played all around. Who do you like in the Saints-Vikings matchup and then for the Super Bowl?
Bigspace…it’s nice to see you back in the forum…thought we might need to put an “APB” out on you…so you like the Vikings over the Saints…whatever the outcome I hope it’s an exciting game…other than the Vikings-Packers Wildcard game and to a lesser extent the Jets-Chargers Divisional game…the majority haven’t been all that exciting unless your favorite team won…Don’t be a stranger…we miss you around here…
Yea my laptop isnt working right now so I don’t have as easy of access to the internet is why I haven’t been on as much…but anyways, great call BB Cory, spot on…I knew it was going to be close but I think the Vikings were definitely the better team but killed themselves and the saints took advantage of it when they needed to in order to get the win…I’m going to have to go with the Colts in the Superbowl 34-27
Hi Bigspace…Hope you can resolve the problems with your laptop very soon…I get crazy when I don’t have Internet access or I forget my iPhone but that’s another story…a high-scoring, close game would make for an exciting Super Bowl! Let’s hope you’re right on target with your prediction…I think Manning’s experience is a big plus for the Colts…though I can’t count out the Saints.
