Or will Drew Brees and the Saints’ top-ranked offense march back to New Orleans with its first NFL championship? Cavigs and Whooley asked the Bruno Boys staff and guest experts to weigh in with our predictions about the game.

Take a look at the Bruno Boys Super Bowl Staff Predictions article for our individual picks and opinions about how we see the game unfolding. We also want to know who you think will be the winner…so vote in our “Who Will Win Super Bowl XLIV? poll (you’ll find it with the article) and then come back here to discuss your pick with the Bruno Boys Nation!  You’ll find the article and poll here: http://brunoboys.net/entry/bruno-boys-super-bowl-breakdown/

Colts come up lame, Saints go marching in….Saints 37 Colts 34

edit:  Having now read the article I see the lady above behind post #1 already claimed my score….so in the interest of fairness, competition, yadda yadda, and the desire to hold sole possession of victory come this time tomorrow night I would like to change my score to NO 39 IND 31.

rsr1…did you also notice that I was the only BBer to roll with the Saints? Talk about being out there all by your lonesome…I’m not feeling proprietary about the score…but if it makes you feel better to come up with your own number then go for it…I am really hoping the Saints come up with the win even though the Colts have Manning and everyone knows what a difference maker he is…especially with so much on the line.

I know your not being proprietary about the score…but I don’t like ties…so now, by changing mine, when the Saints win, we won’t have one.
Besides, I just like stirring the pot now and then.

This should be a great Super Bowl full of action. Thanks to those of you who responded to this post and voted in our article. Enjoy the game and if you’re partying for the Super Bowl be safe!

And like I said in my prediction it will be a close game and be decided in the 4th quarter but in the end the Colts get the job done and win their second Lombardi trophy in four years.

Also best of luck to everyone in the playoff challenge.

hehehe…who dat gonna beat dem colts….Congratulations New Orleans.
Turned out to be a good game, thankfully not a blowout, but surprisingly I found myself thinking it a bit of a yawner by the end of the first half.  The second half changed that however.  Looking back at the first half I’m not sure why I thought that, lack of ‘big’ plays maybe, but well played just the same.
If you aren’t already booked for madri gras, the prices just went up.
. .
. .
. offseason, yuck.
