Ian Thomas was a huge bust last week in his first full game without Greg Olsen in the lineup. Thomas only caught 2-of-3 targets for 10 yards while also dropping a would-be touchdown. Lets chalk that one up to a case of the rookie jitters.
This week Thomas gets a prime bounce back spot against a Bengals defense that has given up the most fantasy points to tight ends so far this season. The Bengals have given up a touchdown to a tight end each week while also giving up 20 receptions to tight ends which ties for most in the league. Their 198 receiving yards allowed to TE’s is fourth most in the league against the position.
If Thomas is going to be a thing on this offense, this is his chance to make a statement. He provides huge upside on an offense that has been funneled through tight end and running back targets at a rock bottom price under $3,000 on DraftKings this week.
