The 2019 NFL season is now 7 weeks old and it’s time to start streaming defenses from your fantasy football waiver wire. Unless you own a top-5 defense, you are better off finding the best option each week from your fantasy football waiver wire. So, instead of letting your competition beat you to the punch, use your fantasy football waiver wire to find the team defense that is going to help you win your matchup.

Let’s get things started by taking a look at some fantasy football waiver wire team defenses that could help your team in Week 8.

Carolina Panthers, D/ST

Going into their Week 7 bye, the Panthers’ defense had at least six sacks in three of four games with eight interceptions and six fumble recoveries over that four-game stretch. Seven of those takeaways came off the hands of Jameis Winston in Week 6, but the Carolina defense has registered at 13 fantasy points (Yahoo! scoring) in each of those last four games.

None of their upcoming matchups are particularly good, besides Week 13 against the Washington Redskins, but the Panthers’ defense gets after the passer and the last two point totals they’ve allowed were partially driven by pass volume and having leads.

The Panthers were widely dropped going into their bye. Now it’s time to re-add them if possible.
