Todd Gurley, Los Angeles Rams vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
It seems like it’s been weeks in the making but I still don’t like what I see out of Gurley week to week. He’s averaging 15 carries, which is what you want to see out of a starter, he’s averaging around 70 yards per game too, but it’s the way he’s being used. Malcolm Brown keeps getting carries, in the red zone too.
Tampa Bay has a strong run defense that’s been the toughest against running backs. They knocked Saquon Barkley out of the Week 3, Tevin Coleman in Week 1 and they held Christian McCaffrey on short rest, not to mentioned stuffed him at the goal line on that critical game ending stand. These aren’t the Bucs of old, at least in stopping the run.
