Happy Thanksgiving, Bruno Boys Nation! It’s Turkey Day this Thursday and while many things are different this year, one thing we can count on is the Cowboys and Lions hosting games to kick off the holiday. There would have been a third game to look at too but the Steelers-Ravens game was postponed until Sunday due to COVID-19 concerns. We’re looking at all the Sits we’re recommending just for the two Thanksgiving games and will look at the rest of the recommendations later in the week.

QB Sits: Matthew Stafford, Detroit Lions vs. Houston Texans

Not that we don’t think Stafford can throw his way out of a bad situation, but it’s pretty bad. He’s still down two receivers (Kenny Golladay and Danny Amendola) with hip injuries and potentially his best running back in D’Andre Swift who is still feeling the affects of a concussion. Add the short rest from Week 11 and the plus matchup against the Texans. We just don’t know if the eye-popping stats are going to be there given what he has around him. 200 yards and two touchdowns feels like the right ceiling for Stafford and that doesn’t cut it in fantasy.
