It’s Week 2 the 2020 NFL season and fantasy football is already in full gear as teams have gone through the entire cycle of drafting, tweaking rosters, setting the lineup and hitting waivers. It’s time to optimize the lineup once again and we’ll lead the week off with the Quarterbacks.

Based on your league set up and scoring, your starting fantasy roster could hinge completely on the signal caller or it could be the most insignificant of skill players. In super-flex or two-quarterback leagues, it’s often the right combination of the two that pushes you over the edge. Start the wrong guy and it could be the difference of 20-30 points and a costly playoff berth. Let’s see which ones look good for Week 2.
Cam Newton, New England Patriots at Seattle Seahawks
On paper, this matchup could scare off some owners but Newton showed in Week 1 that he is in good health and can run offense that Josh McDaniels has built for him. The Seahawks are expected to blitz, but that’s because their pass rush is weak, so he needs to be able to do two things.
Knowing Newton will tuck and run with the ball, he needs to get past the line, and in the open field, could wreck the Seahawks’ defense. The key will be whether he can complete passes to his receivers and take advantage of all those blitzes coming at him. If he does that, he’ll get big plays.
