Tom Brady, Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Carolina Panthers

Tom Brady’s up and down Week 1 has contributed to some fading him. He didn’t play error-free football, and the pick-six was unforgivable if you’re a Bucs fan. Chris Godwin’s status (concussion) for the game is up in the air, but the offense won’t stall out if he is unable to go. Aside from a few miscues, Brady did well. The run game wasn’t impressive and that will prove to be a positive for Brady owners who need numbers.

The offense goes because of what Brady is able to do and I was encouraged with Scott Miller and O.J. Howard’s usage. Mike Evans is practicing and is expected to slide back into his starting role and with three running backs who can catch the ball, Brady should have enough to throw to against a defense that allowed 372 total yards to the Raiders. Surely, Brady should be able to generate that for the Bucs too.
