It’s Week 4 the 2020 NFL season and fantasy football is already testing players. After another week of doing the weekly waiver wire duel and making hard decisions, it’s time to make the most crucial decision of them all–setting your lineups! We’re talking about the Wide Receivers.

Wide receivers were all over the place in Week 3. Some hit, some busted. While we can’t sniff out every bust, we’ll let you know if we see such a matchup where a bust is possible (in our Sits articles). With the increasing popularity of PPR leagues, the receivers, whether they’re big play receivers or slot receivers racking up the receptions, many successful teams depend on as many as three or four receivers. Right now, let’s see which ones do NOT pass the grade for Week 4.
Sammy Watkins, Kansas City Chiefs at New England Patriots
Over the last two regular season games against New England, Watkins has just six receptions for 68 yards with no touchdowns. Like usual, Watkins starts off the season hot which causes a lot of fantasy owners to rush back to add him in Week 2 and then have buyer’s remorse.
The Patriots have been surprisingly generous against the pass this year, but a lot of that has to do with facing Russell Wilson in Week 2. They’ve still yet to allow a 100-yard receiver and take that Seahawks game out of the equation and most other receivers didn’t pass 50 yards (only Hunter Renfrow at 84 yards). This is still a tough defense to crack for most teams and while the defending Super Bowl champs are no slouches, Watkins could find himself stuck in traffic in Week 4.
