In super-flex or two-quarterback leagues, it’s often the right combination of the two that pushes you over the edge. Start the wrong guy and it could be the difference of 20-30 points. Let’s see which ones do NOT look good for Week 7.
Jared Goff, Los Angeles Rams vs. Chicago Bears
We tested the Bears defense by starting Matt Ryan and Tom Brady against them, but week after week, we see it’s wiser to bench any QB against Chicago. Opposing quarterbacks have thrown a league-low four touchdowns against the Bears. That makes them the second-toughest defense against the quarterback next to the Colts. So what does that mean for Goff?
Goff has crossed the entire spectrum of the quarterbacks. He’s had two top 10 finishes, but has also finished near the bottom twice. Goff has played some of the easier defenses like Dallas, Philly, Buffalo and San Francisco, who are all banged up. Meanwhile, thef Bears are at full strength and are by far the top-ranked defense the Rams has seen this season. It’s going to be a bad Monday night for Goff and the Rams.
