After an abbreviated season due to COVID-19, a wild playoff, including two Game 7s in both the ALCS and NLCS, we have arrived at the 2020 Fall Classic. Yes, the World Series is upon us.

We hope you have been following our articles. We told you to “NO PLAY” the Dodgers -220 before the NLCS began. Then down 2-1, we told you all to take LA at -120.

#1 Tampa Bay Rays vs. #1 Los Angeles Dodgers (8:11pm ET – FOX)

From the National League is the Number 1 seed Los Angeles Dodgers vs the Number 1 seed from the American League, Tampa Bay Rays.  Talk about two teams from opposite spectrums. The Dodgers have the number 2 payroll with $107,917,397 vs the Rays who sit at the 28th highest payroll $28,290,689. On paper it looks like David vs Goliath, but on the field it was a different story.

Let’s look at the series price as well as game 1.

LA – 205
TB +175

Game 1:
LA | Clayton Kershaw | -1.5 +125 | -160
TB | Tyler Glasnow | +1.5 -145 | +141

O 7.5 -105
U 7.5 -115World Series

As I have mentioned before, I bet the Dodgers back in February to win the World Series at +350 so you know who I am rooting for. I do not like -205 at all. If you follow our show, we do not do anything over -175. It is not the type of risk we enjoy taking so it is not worth it to us. Could you take a flyer on the dog? Of course. But I think it’s time for Kershaw and the Dodgers to finally seal the deal!

My value for this first game…
Series Winner: Los Angeles Dodgers F5 -1 (+120) | 1 unit bet Unit
