J.K. Dobbins/Mark Ingram, Baltimore Ravens at Houston Texans
Dobbins is coming off a thrilling matchup where not many fantasy owners expected him to vulture two touchdowns away from Mark Ingram. Many expected this committee to turn into a timeshare but perhaps not this soon. Dobbins getting red zone carries is a big concern if you’re an Ingram owner as that destabilizes his where his floor is. Dobbins also carried the ball seven times for 22 yards which isn’t much, but is enough to make one think if this committee is headed towards an equal split should Dobbins begin to get more carries between the 20s.
While the carries are for now, still leaning towards Ingram, Dobbins’ goal line carries could push him as the back to ultimately own as the season wears on, but a lot has to happen until we’ve crowned Dobbins the king of this hill. For now, both backs are starts this week since the Texans gave up 166.0 rushing yards to the Chiefs last week. Only two teams gave up more, the 49ers and the Dolphins.
