Chase Claypool, Pittsburgh Steelers at Los Angeles Chargers

Claypool is coming off a toe injury but was able to get a full practice in before game day. The Steelers are starving for healthy playmakers but even their best receiver, Diontae Johnson has struggled to get into the end zone lately. Meanwhile Claypool has underachieved all season. A receiver with his talent and natural gifts should be unstoppable but he has just two start-worthy performances in 2021.

For anyone who has kept him this long, he’s been a bust and even though the Chargers have been beaten through the air of late, they have good personnel in the secondary. Claypool has yet to show anything to give his fantasy owners confidence and frankly, most of the Steelers (outside of Johnson and Ray-Ray McCloud) look like low-end flex plays.
