Terry McLaurin, Washington Football Team at Carolina Panthers
This is going to be a great matchup between McLaurin and Stephon Gilmore of the Panthers. Opposing quarterbacks typically do not throw to Gilmore’s side and when they do, he often times takes it away from them. Since his arrival, no wide receiver has caught a touchdown on the Panthers, nor have they scored more than 9.0 fantasy points.
We’ll see how risky Taylor Heinicke is in Week 11. He’s definitely a backyard football-type so we expect Gilmore to get a chance to make a play on the ball. Meanwhile, the Panthers’ defense just keeps improving and their pass defense is one of the best. It’s been awhile since we’ve seen McLaurin have an explosive performance, so right now he’s playing into Carolina’s strengths.
Quick Hits
Jarvis Landry / Donovan Peoples-Jones / Rashard Higgins, Cleveland Browns vs. Detroit Lions
If there were a week to start Landry, this would be it. But not because of targets or action he’s seeing, but because it’s the Lions. Landry is the best option out of this bunch of receivers that has suffered through Baker Mayfield’s struggles and Kevin Stefanski’s playcalling. All of it is too risky to touch.
Brandon Aiyuk, San Francisco 49ers at Jacksonville Jaguars
Anyone not named Deebo Samuel or George Kittle is just going through the motions because those are the only Niners receivers the fantasy world (and Jimmy Garoppolo) cares about.
On Bye: Denver Broncos (Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, and Tim Patrick), Los Angeles Rams (Cooper Kupp, Odell Beckham, Van Jefferson)
