Cole Beasley, Buffalo Bills vs. New England Patriots
Beasley has become the prototypical boom or bust slot receiver that has underperformed this season. You could point to Emmanuel Sanders as a part of the reason why he’s not getting more action but outside of a handful of games, there have been more misses than hits. Especially if you look at the last three games combined. He’s caught 11-of-12 targets for just 84 yards.
The last time Beasley scored was in Week 6, and you could say he’s due, but that doesn’t make it any more likely to happen. Then finally consider the Patriots who have allowed just two receivers to reach double digits since the began their current five game win-streak in Week 7.
