Cam Newton / PJ Walker, Carolina Panthers at Buffalo Bills

We’re going to find out two times, that Newton is not Tom Brady. We know the ups and downs that Newton had as the Patriots’ quarterback was and how that might have been the last time we see him as a regular starter. It did not work out in New England for Newton but a second stint with the Panthers was supposed to fix that. To be honest, it’s been up and down for the veteran quarterback. He’s the starter but has been pulled in situations, for PJ Walker, because of costly turnovers and bad play.

We’ll find out this week again, that Newton is no Brady. He is tasked to follow up Brady’s 363/2/0 line to go with a rushing touchdown against the always tough Bills defense. If Newton can’t even be trusted by Matt Rhule to be given every snap, then there’s no chance he gets enough touches to make a dent against the toughest defense against the position.
