Who to start and who to sit? It’s the one question you need to answer right in order to do well in fantasy football. You won’t get it right every time, but at Bruno Boys, we help you work through those tougher decisions. That way, you make informed decisions on your starting lineup and will be confident in locking it in. Our Tight Ends to Start and Sit look specifically at ones you can start or stream, and ones to leave alone.
It’s playoff time in fantasy football and this season has proven to be even more challenging than in years past. Now with the threat of COVID-19 altering starting rosters up to the last minute, owners need to keep up with who is on the COVID/Reserve List and if they’re player can give a negative test before their Week 15 game. Three games have been rescheduled as a result of new cases in the league. They include: Browns vs. Raiders to Monday Night at 5PM EST, and on Tuesday, Football Team at Eagles and Seahawks at Rams, both at 7PM EST.
Here are the Week 15 Fantasy Football Tight Ends to Sit.
Jack Doyle, Indianapolis Colts vs. New England Patriots
The tight end position has not been a fruitful one against the Patriots. They’ve effectively shut down the position defensively, allowing just three to score on them. All three who did score failed to reach over 25 yards receiving and only one of them (Austin Hooper in Week 10) managed to score at least 10.0 fantasy points. Dalton Schultz is the only other tight end to score over 10.0 points and that was back in Week 6, the last time the Patriots lost a game.
It’s a shame because Doyle had been re-emerging onto the fantasy team but Carson Wentz has faced some good defenses and the Colts have relied on the run more as a result.
