It’s playoff time in fantasy football and this season has proven to be even more challenging than in years past. Our advice, stay close to the news wire and check your players’ status up to kickoff. Now, let’s work through those tougher decisions as you fix your lineups for your deep playoff run.

Here are the Week 16 Fantasy Football Quarterbacks to Sit.

Taylor Heinicke Washington Football Team at Dallas Cowboys

Heinicke has been a QB you could depend on to keep your fantasy team competitive but in recent weeks, thanks to landing on the COVID reserve list in Week 15, and frankly the weeks building up to that, the young QB has stalled. Statistically, he’s just not doing enough to justify a start. Against defenses that he should have been able to throw on, Henicke has come up short, throwing multiple touchdowns in just two of his last nine games.

Dallas is also playing remarkable defense of late, holding Patrick Mahomes and Matt Ryan to single digits, and even Heinicke in Week 14. They’ve improved since their Week 7 bye, allowing multiple scores to a QB just twice (Teddy Bridgewater in Week 9 and Taysom Hill in Week 13). The strength in Dallas’ game is the defense, so we’d shy away from this matchup.
