Stream Alert: Matt Ryan, Atlanta Falcons vs. Detroit Lions
There weren’t many weeks you could find a good matchup for Ryan, but lo and behold, Week 16 has presented his few owners out there a chance to bring home some fantasy hardware. He’ll have to play above what he’s been doing, because in the last six games combined, Ryan has thrown more picks (5) than touchdowns (3). Can he get back to that place he was at in Week 9 against the Saints?
I do think he can. He’s looked better throwing the ball of late, knowing he still has just Russell Gage, Hayden Hurst and Cordarrelle Patterson to throw to. He just hasn’t had the touchdowns. Now Detroit is not an easy matchup as they’ve proven each week that they’re not going to roll over, but they’ve had letdowns before. At this stage, with COVID out there decimating some fantasy teams, Ryan could be just good enough (say, 225 yards and two touchdowns) to give your team a chance if you are in desperate times.
