Week 21 Running Backs
Miles Sanders will rush UNDER 50.5 yards (-110 FanDuel) against the 49ers
Start Time: Sunday, January 29, Lincoln Financial Field 3:00pm ET
Broadcast: Fox Sports / fuboTV / NFL+
Vegas is anticipating a tough day for Sanders. They’re easily the best run defense in the league and in the playoffs, they allowed Zeke Elliott to rush for 26 yards, Tony Pollard 22 yards before his brutal injury, and Ken Walker gained 63 yards and a touchdown on them back in Wild Card Weekend. Over the regular season, the Niners allowed just seven backs to rush for at least 50 yards. Only seven backs scored against them too.
Sanders has had some explosive games this year but against weaker run defenses. He’s been in the 60-90 yards rushing range against most teams, but against the tougher run defenses, Sanders has been held as low as 24 yards, and as high as 71 yards. He doesn’t have the benefit of rushing against the 49ers this season but the only thing that could go his way is if Jalen Hurts is able to throw the ball and open up the run lanes early. But that’s easier said than done against this defense.
