Welcome, Bruno Boys Nation to the Week 21 of the 2022 NFL Season! Along with the variety of fantasy football formats, we cover Player Prop bets. So in case you just want some quick action for the weekend, Ernie Estrella is tackling Player Prop betting during the season. He will break down the wiser bets for five players (2 in-depth, 3 quick) at quarterback, running back and wide receiver, based on how he sees the game script going.
Week 21 Wide Receivers and Tight Ends
Tee Higgins will receive OVER 58.5 yards (-110 BetMGM) against the Chiefs
Start Time: Sunday, January 29, GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium 6:30pm ET
Broadcast: CBS Sports / fuboTV / NFL+
Higgins is one of two home run receivers that the Bengals have and that the Chiefs have to account for. In last year’s 27-24 win in the playoffs, Higgins caught six passes out of 10 targets for 103 yards. In his other two games against the Chiefs, combined, Higgins has six catches for 97 yards a touchdown. As for this regular season, Higgins is a boom or bust receiver. Higgins has caught at least 70 yards seven times (over 100 yards four times). Six times, Higgins failed to reach 50 yards. So it’s truly a coin flip as to what Higgins is going to give. Higgins’ player prop is just under 60 yards and that seems like a reachable goal given how much attention Ja’Marr Chase will get and how much the Bengals will need to score points.
