Welcome, Bruno Boys Nation to the Week 7 of the 2022 NFL Season! Along with the variety of fantasy football formats, we cover Player Prop bets. So in case you just want some quick action for the weekend, Ernie Estrella is tackling Player Prop betting during the season. He will break down the wiser bets for five players (2 in-depth, 3 quick) at quarterback, running back and wide receiver, based on how he sees the game script going.

Week 7 Quarterbacks

Davis Mills will throw OVER 1.5 touchdowns (+144 FanDuel) against the Raiders

Start Time: Sunday, October 23, Allegiant Stadium 4:05pm ET
Broadcast: CBS Sports /  Paramount+  / NFL+

The Raiders are giving out fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks like they’re going out of style. Every quarterback has scored multiple times on them, although two of them needed to run one in. The other three threw at least two touchdowns. That said, none have thrown over 300 yards. The Raiders do have good cornerbacks, but the entire defensive scheme has been flawed thus far.

Davis Mills is not a threat to run, but he has players he can throw to in Dameon Pierce, Nico Collins and Brandin Cooks. Even Rex Burkhead is a possible target. On average he’s throwing the ball 33.5 times, and if he lands on that average once again with a 6.2 yards per completion, that puts him around 209 yards. But the question is, can Collins, Cooks, and Pierce score a combined two touchdowns if Mills throws the ball to them. We think so, and that’s why we’ll take the OVER 1.5 touchdown prop on Mills.
