NFC South
Atlanta Falcons – Cordarrelle Patterson took over the game for three quarters and Marcus Mariota looked flawless until Atlanta blew another big lead.
Carolina Panthers – The first half was full of mistakes, but Baker Mayfield looked like a general out there after halftime to put the Panthers up by one point with a minute left. Cleveland marched down thanks to roughing the passer penalty on Brian Burns. Christian McCaffrey scored and looked good, but only in moments.
New Orleans Saints – The Saints started out slow and took a 16-point lead into the 4th quarter. But Jameis Winston led a charge with Michael Thomas, Jarvis Landry and a 51-yard field goal by Will Lutz with 19 seconds left to score 17 points. This sleeping dragon is waking up.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Look for opposing defenses to pin their ears back and go after Tom Brady. This offense line performed as feared as the 45-year-old GOAT had no time in the pocket. Chris Godwin aggravated his hamstring in his right leg, which was already sore to start the season. Godwin hobbled off the field and looks like he is missing more time.
