8. Josh Jacobs, RB, Las Vegas Raiders at Los Angeles Chargers

Another defense that has plenty to prove is the Chargers. Ranked 30th overall, the Chargers were sunk mainly because of their run defense, giving up the third-most rushing yards at 2,361. They added Khalil Mack and Sebastian Joseph-Day but it remains to be seen if enough was done. Remember how bad the Raiders’ run defense was with Mack?

Even though Jacobs is not the strongest play this week, There’s something I like about about this matchup. In five career games against the Chargers, Jacobs touched the ball 109 times for 384 rushing yards (76.8 per game) and scored four touchdowns. He should be a workhorse on 1st and 2nd downs in Josh McDaniels’ offense. He’ll share receiving duties to Ameer Abdullah and Branden Bolden.
