5. Robert Woods, WR, Tennessee Titans vs. New York Giants
The Giants’ secondary is under reconstruction. To help with that the G-Men upgraded their defensive line with draft picks Kavon Thibodeaux and Azeez Ojulari. The hope is to force opposing quarterbacks into bad throws but both are questionable nursing injuries.
Woods is the Titans’ best receiver at Week 1 and is expected to command attention. In time, Treylon Burks could be in that conversation. But Woods was acquired for his veteran leadership and ability to hold one position down. Whether or not the Titans pass the ball in high volume is another question. He is viewed as a flex start, max. Still, it’s a great matchup, and that’s what you have to find.
