8. Kirk Cousins, QB, Minnesota Vikings at Buffalo Bills
With Josh Allen limited and potentially down for Week 10, the Bills’ defense is going to be amped to keep the game close enough for what might be a Case Keenum-led offense. There is nothing changing the defense with Allen not playing. If anything, they know how important a big play would be in maintaining their lead in the AFC East.
Cousins has been running hot and cold over the last four games with two top 10 finishes (Weeks 5 vs. CHI and 8 vs. ARI) scoring 23.0 points in each game. He also finished twice outside of the top 10 (Weeks 6 @ MIA and 9 @ WAS). Overall, he has three top 10 finishes, another three finishing as the QB11-QB13, and finally two at QB21 and QB25. He’s not exactly lighting up the 2022 season, but has been a good matchup play like he usually is. Unfortunately, this is an ugly matchup for any quarterback and not just Cousins. Sensing a low scoring game, Cousins owners will want to bench him.
