7. Pat Freiermuth, TE, Pittsburgh Steelers vs. New Orleans Saints

Freiermuth has grinded all season long. He’s been a playable TE1 in four of the eight weeks played by the Steelers but it’s not been easy getting through some tough matchups and switching from a bridge quarterback to the rookie franchise face of the future. Freiermuth is heating upon his own way, catching 12-of-16 passes for 132 yards over the last two games. So owners will stick to him.

Unfortunately the Saints are a brutal matchup for the position. They allowed their first touchdown catch of the season, which was Isaiah Likely’s lone catch of the Monday Night game in Week 9. All but two tight ends have caught three receptions or less, while never reaching 32 yards. That’s bad news for TE1s and TE2s.
