6. Najee Harris, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cincinnati Bengals
It may seem like we have a beef with Harris, because we do feature him a lot in Sits, but this week is more about the respect we have for the Bengals run defense. When you look at which backs that have flourished against Cincinnati, whether it’s Tony Pollard, Breece Hall, Alvin Kamara or Nick Chubb, Harris doesn’t come to mind as having that playmaking ability that either of those four other backs exhibit weekly.
Harris is just starting to get the volume we want to see, but even on his best days, 12 points is a season high. Let’s not forget that Harris is also losing touches to rookie Jaylen Warren, who looks more explosive when he gets the ball in his hands.
The Bengals have been focused on stopping the run in 2022 and Harris had trouble against them in Week 1. Since then, the Bengals have relaxed a little against the run, but a low-end flex is the best his owners can hope for.
