2. Derek Carr, QB, Las Vegas Raiders at Denver Broncos
By now everyone’s seen Derek Carr’s emotional post-game presser after losing to the Colts. Every week it’s the same story where they finish the game and you wonder, “How did they lose to _____?” Their only wins have comes against these Broncos and the Texans. In both games, Carr did not play his best.
He had one of his worst games in the win against the Broncos in Week 4. He threw 21-of-34 passes for 188 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions. But Denver has been doing this to every quarterback they face. Six QBs have scored under 10 points, and of the three that didn’t, Carr scored 11.5 points. Given the way the Raiders are spiraling downward and Darren Waller and Hunter Renfrow are on the IR, the defense will be swarming Davante Adams but who else does Carr have to throw to?
