It’s Week 12 of the 2022 NFL Season, Bruno Boys Nation and we only have a few weeks before the playoffs start. You need to keep stacking wins or get that crucial last push towards the prize. Surprises are fewer and far between but Week 11 had its share of surprises. We need that information to keep building on what we know. Teams will continue to evolve (and wear down) as the weeks go on.
Studs will be studs, and of course those players are cemented in your lineup. At Bruno Boys, we look at the tougher decisions on who to start and who to sit like those pesky flex situations, that third receiver, or a super-flex.
There are no teams on BYE this week, so all active players are fair game. In no particular order, we’ve picked out the best Starts AND Sits for Thanksgiving.
8. Joshua Palmer, WR, Los Angeles Chargers at Arizona Cardinals
Mike Williams is out for the Chargers, which is a huge blow to their offense. But that means that Palmer will be relied on to pull his weight again. Over the last three games, Palmer has exploded for 19 receptions out of 28 targets from Justin Herbert who is just trying to maintain some sense of consistency on the field since Williams and Keenan Allen have missed numerous games. Palmer scored two touchdowns in a single game, for the first time ever. Also, those are his first scores this season since Week 2. He becomes a big person of interest in this Chargers-Cardinals matchup as the Cards are just shells of their potential and a team that is trending down.
