Happy Thanksgiving from all of us here at Bruno Boys! We hope you are all are in good company and eating good while lounging in front of three NFL games today. It’s Week 12 of the 2022 NFL Season, Bruno Boys Nation and we only have a few weeks before the playoffs start. You need to keep stacking wins or get that crucial last push towards the prize. Surprises are fewer and far between but Week 11 had its share of surprises. We need that information to keep building on what we know. Teams will continue to evolve (and wear down) as the weeks go on.

Studs will be studs, and of course those players are cemented in your lineup. At Bruno Boys, we look at the tougher decisions on who to start and who to sit like those pesky flex situations, that third receiver, or a super-flex.

There are no teams on BYE this week, so all active players are fair game. In no particular order, we’ve picked out the best Starts AND Sits for Thanksgiving.

10. SIT: T.J. Hockenson, TE, Minnesota Vikings vs. New England Patriots

As a member of the Lions, Hockenson had a brutal game against the Patriots in Week 5. He has one catch for six yards. Now he’ll do better as a Viking because they pass more and Kirk Cousins is a less of a matchup QB than Jared Goff, but not so much that we’d start Hock. There’s only been two tight ends to really have great games against the Patriots this season and the rest have been low volume, low impact plays.
