It’s Week 14 of the 2022 NFL Season, Bruno Boys Nation and it’s the start of some fantasy football leagues. It’s win or go home for some of you, while others have one more week before it’s crunch time.

Studs will be studs, and of course those players are cemented in your lineup. At Bruno Boys, we look at the tougher decisions on who to start and who to sit like those pesky flex situations, that third receiver, or a super-flex.

Last week we were 5-3 and two picks we are throwing out because of injuries. The Atlanta Falcons, Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers, Indianapolis Colts, New Orleans Saints and Washington Commanders are on BYE this week, so all of their players are unavailable this week. This is the last BYE week of the 2022 season. In no particular order, we’ve picked out the best Sits for Week 14.

8. Gabe Davis, WR, Buffalo Bills vs. New York Jets

Davis has been flaky all season from starting the year injured to uncharacteristic drops. So far he’s been a flop for anyone who envisioned he’d be their fantasy WR2. He’s barely been a flex most weeks and has just four games where he popped off. In three of those four games, Davis put those quality numbers on terrible pass defenses. The Jets are not a terrible defense; they have excellent corners in Sauce Gardner and D.J. Reed and so while it’s inevitable that Stephon Diggs will break a play or two, Davis has been inconsistent in doing so, especially against quality coverage.
