3. James Conner, RB, Arizona Cardinals vs. New England Patriots
2022 has been an all or nothing season. Either he’s rushing for 25-55 scoreless yards or he’s scoring a touchdown. Conner is riding a three-game streak of scoring double-digit points. He typically has a high floor of 7.0 fantasy and it goes up from there. Arizona is as healthy as they’ve been all season, from a receiver standpoint. So Conner’s role in the passing game should be drinking, but aside from trying to figure out where the ball gets thrown after DeAndre Hopkins and Marquise Brown, Conner will get volume. That fvolume might lead to heartbreak though. If you must start him because of six teams being on bye, we’d pencil him in as a flex in case another matchup looks better Sunday morning.
