5. Mac Jones, QB, New England Patriots vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Welp, the Bengals finally allowed a 300-yard passer, (The GOAT) in what was their worst game defensively. But defenses can have a bounce back week too as they’ll face Tom Brady’s successor, Mac Jones, who has had just one week of fantasy note to speak of, Week 12 at Minnesota. The Patriots are a run heavy team with the quagmire that’s Joe Judge and Matt Patricia’s offense. That will suit them in what should be a cold winter game but the Patriots don’t have the arsenal nor the imagination to keep pace with the Bengals should they begin to pull away. Unless you’re in a 2-QB league, Jones is avoidable in Week 16, as he has been most of the season.
