3. Adam Thielen, WR, Minnesota Vikings vs. Detroit Lions

On one side of the field, it’s going to be a battle between Justin Jefferson and Lions cornerback Jeff Okudah, who played Terry McLaurin tough in Week 2. On the other side, Thielen will face Amani Oruwariye, Mike Hughes or Will Harris, depending on where they line up the veteran receiver.

The Lions are improved, and you can see it on the field. But their secondary as a whole, is still getting lit up. A.J. Brown was unstoppable in Week 1 because, well, he’s A.J. Brown. But the Commanders’ receivers gashed Detroit for over 40 fantasy points combined.

That’s hope for Thielen who is in his 9th season and appears to be phased out of this offense as the third or fourth option. He still needs to be accounted for in the red zone though and the Lions have been a part of two high scoring affairs.
