Los Angeles’ defense has shown improvements over the 2021 season. They’ve been better at stopping the run in particular. In the first two weeks, opposing teams have notice some small crevices in that defense where the tight ends can slip into. Granted, the Chiefs and Raiders are always going to feed their tight ends. But why can’t the Jaguars do it too?
Engram has been a reliable target for Trevor Lawrence. He’s caught 11-of-12 targets. Perhaps that’s a sign that he’s past the dropsies he had in New York. The yardage is not thrilling at just 6.6 yards per reception but with consistent volume comes scoring opportunities.
