AFC South
This week features a star in Texas that doesn’t play for the Cowboys; the first overall pick in most drafts flames out again; we remember these Titans, and the Jags earned our respect.
Houston Texans – We could talk about Davis Mills finally getting the passing game going with Brandin Cooks, Nico Collins, and Rez Burkhead. But why would we do that when we could be enthusiastic about Dameon Pierce’s 14 rushes for 131 yards and a touchdown. He was the only Texans back to carry the football and he also caught six passes too.
Indianapolis Colts – After stunning the Colts in Week 3, the Colts did not capitalize on the momentum, allowing the Titans to beat them mentally by halftime. Jonathan Taylor continues being a non-factor. Matt Ryan threw for 356 yards and two touchdowns but it was too little, too late. By the way, everyone who jumped on rookie TE Jelani Woods on waivers, saw Mo Alie-Cox get all the action instead with two touchdowns. So now everyone scurries over to MAC?
Jacksonville Jaguars – Jamal Agnew caught two touchdowns. Most people were surprised that Agnew was still in the league. Christian Kirk finally had a bad game. It was a down day for most of the Jaguars players. We all suspected the Jaguars would get beat, but I don’t think anyone anticipated how close this game was going to be. Jaguars take the L, but the league has taken notice.
Tennessee Titans – This was a milquetoast game for anyone owning a Titans offensive player. Ryan Tannehill threw for two touchdowns, Derrick Henry went over 100 yards and got a tuddy, and even Robert Woods scored. Treylon Burks was a dud and Chigoziem Okonkwo caught a touchdown. So the entire fantasy community will collectively need to learn how to write and say his name.
