NFC East
The Eagles are still undefeated but they’re not running away with anything yet. The D in Dallas is legit, and Cooper Rush is about to hand the microphone back to Dak.
Dallas Cowboys – Cooper Rush continues his winning ways, while the defense came up big again with two interceptions. It’s lead to three straight wins for the Cowboys as they continue to be one game behind the Eagles. Michael Gallup wasted no time to assert himself in the offense with a touchdown catch, but Noah Brown continues to make big catches and out-targeted Gallup six to three. Tony Pollard busted big time for his fantasy owners and so did Dalton Schultz.
New York Giants – The Bears are so bad that the Giants won despite Daniel Jones and Tyrod Taylor going 9-for-16 with 71 passing yards and one interception. Both quarterbacks got hurt, but Jones played long enough to vulture away not one, but two touchdowns from Saquon Barkley.
Philadelphia Eagles – The Eagles finally got tested. Under constant rain, the Jaguars put the eagles in a 14-point hole. Only to see it evaporate and disappear by halftime. A huge day by Miles Sanders, who ran for 134 yards and two touchdowns. Jalen Hurts needed a rushing touchdown to salvage his day.
Washington Commanders – We expected Carson Wentz to struggle against a strong Dallas defense and he didn’t let us down. He completed just 25-of-42 passes for 170 yards. His 6.8 yards per completion isn’t just an average yards per completion, but it’s like a cloud hanging over all of his receivers who got little to show for their 25 receptions. Antonio Gibson did not have a good performance in what will likely be his last start with guaranteed touches. Brian Robinson is set to come off the IR and earn his starting spot back.
