It’s Week 5 of the 2022 NFL Season already, Bruno Boys Nation and that fourth week was full of injuries that impacted games. Some teams like Jacksonville looked even stronger than they previously did, even in a loss. Others like Seattle raised some eyebrows. That fourth week of information keeps building on what we know. Teams are going to evolve and devolve as the weeks go on.

Studs will be studs, and of course those players are cemented in your lineup. At Bruno Boys, we look at the tougher decisions on who to start and who to sit. For instance those pesky flex situations, that third receiver, or that super flex.

Last week we were 4-4 with our Sits, although we’re throwing out one pick because of a late injury. That makes us 22-11 through Week 4. In no particular order, we’ve picked out the best for Week 5 and remember there are bonus Sits at the end of the article.

8. Tyler Allgeier and Caleb Huntley, RB, Atlanta Falcons at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

With Cordarrelle Patterson ailing, both Huntley and the rookie Allgeier have been hot pickups this week through the waiver wire. Unfortunately their first week up is the Bucs who have an air tight defense against the run. They’ve allowed just one rushing touchdown but no one has been able to go over 100 yards rushing. In fact only one back has gone over 65 yards rushing on them. Because Allgeier and Hunley will be splitting carries we don’t see either of them making it worth the flex start.
