7. Zeke Elliott, RB, Dallas Cowboys at Los Angeles Rams

Elliot’s become more of a plodding back this season. He gets a lot of volume carries but he’s not doing enough with them. In Weeks 1-2 combined he carried the ball 25 times for a total of 105 yards. Those were against good defenses in Tampa and Cincinnati. He flourished against the Giants, though who hasn’t? Last week against the Commanders, Elliott was given the ball 19 times and only got 49 yards. He salvaged the week with some receiving yards but against the Rams this week? They’re the toughest matchup for any opposing running back. That’s why we’re benching Zeke until we see a good matchup (Week 7).
