7. Clyde Edwards-Helaire, RB, Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills
Last week was a clunker for CEH. Down 17-0, the game script pulled away from Edwards-Helaire and went to Jerick McKinnon instead. The Bills will be an imposing defense to run against. No running back has managed to reach 50 yards rushing or 40 yards receiving. They’ve given up a handful of short yardage touchdowns no back has been able to establish a rhythm, none reaching 14 carries. Two weeks ago we were encouraged by CEH’s game against the Bucs, a very good run defense. However, McKinnon is like a fly to CEH’s ointment. How many carries will McKinnon be entitled to? Will the Chiefs fade Edward-Helaire if the Bills jump to a big lead? Matchup and potential game script could limit his action, but a short yardage touchdown could the floor for CEH.
